Local Businesswomen, Ashleigh White and Caroline Walker have teamed up to open Honey Bee, a health and nutrition shop located at the theatre corner on Newgate Street in Bishop Auckland.
Wedderspoons Manuka Honey is just one of the items alongside other health and nutrition products available in the new store. The shop is the only supplier in the area that stocks CBD Oil, also know as Cannabidiol – a legal, healing extract of the hemp, or cannabis plant, which can be used as a daily food supplement.
The businesswomen said:
“It has taken us a year to get up and running, and we hope the people of Bishop Auckland will support us, as we are offering something a little different, such as a pet range and a baby and toddler range of products.” “We also have an expert visiting the shop on Wednesday 21st February to do sensitivity testing, as many allergies can be related to every diet. The shop was opened by Bishop Auckland Mayor, Cllr Adam Zair who said:
“It is nice to see another local business opening in the town, which shows Bishop Auckland is fighting back, and I would like to wish them every success.”
