Local band Share the Darkness raised the roof at the Park Head Hotel in Bishop Auckland on Saturday night helping to boost funds for Councillor Adam Zair the Mayor of Bishop Auckland’s chosen charity the Great North Air Ambulance.
Local Mayors and guests clapped and sang along to traditional Irish Music, and the total amount raised for the Great North Air Ambulance was £680.
Councillor Adam Zair said:
“I would like to say a huge thank you to Claire and Tony Gibbons from the Park Head Hotel and to Share the Darkness who made the evening such a great success, a special thanks also to all of the guests who attended, the amount raised is a fantastic example of the goodwill the local community has for charity fundraising.”
