The Mayor of Bishop Auckland, Councillor David Fleming unveiled Day 14 of the Bishop Auckland Town Team’s Advent Window project, which took place at Nip & Tuck in Fore Bondgate, Bishop Auckland.
The theme was ‘The Grumpy Shepherd’ and was created by the children from Aclet Close Nursery School.
Storyteller, Pam Pott entertained the children with the fascinating tale of The Grumpy Shepherd. Afterwards the children sang ‘Christmas Pudding’ and ‘We Wish you a Merry Christmas.’
The Mayor said: It was a privilege to unveil today’s Advent Window and I’d like to give a special thanks to Aclet Close Nursery School and the Town Team for a such a wonderful window display, and to the owners of Nip and Tuck for their warming hospitality.
