It is an honour and a special privilege to serve as Mayor of Bishop Auckland, to work with so many of the groups of volunteers and community groups supporting people of all ages and abilities in the town. I have had incredible support and help so far in my term of office, and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone, it is greatly appreciated.
I would like to pay a special thanks to Jonathan Ruffer and his family for having the vision and belief in our town, he is certainly bringing a new and exciting feeling to the area.
My chosen charity for my term in office is Woodhouse Church and Community Crisis Centre and Foodbank. Please do continue to support this amazing charity and all of the volunteers who work there.
