SUMMARY:Bishop Word Fest - Turn the Page
DESCRIPTION:The ink is currently drying on the programme of activity and many conversations over cups of tea have led to collaborations and connections ready for Word Fest\, taking place in September at The Artists Hub – Bishop Auckland. \nWord Fest is Created by Dispel Art and funded by Bishop Auckland Town Council\, the community-driven festival will run from 7th September to 20th September 2026\, bringing together residents\, schools\, artists\, authors\, businesses and community groups for a town-wide celebration of storytelling and local identity. \nTaking place in and around Bishop Auckland’s historic Market Place\, Word Fest will invite people to explore what the town means to them\, celebrate its character and heritage\, and share their hopes for its future. \nThis has only been made possible by the enthusiasm of so many local people and organisations and we are grateful for all of the support. \nA special thank you to Bishop Auckland Town Council (Instagram) \nExhibition – 7th September to 20th September 2026 \nFree Festival – 11th September to 13th September 2026 \nVisit the The Artists Hub – Bishop Auckland Facebook page for more information.
