SUMMARY:Riverfest 2025
DESCRIPTION:Riverfest 2025 is a family fun day organised by the Wear Rivers Trust with the aim of connecting the people of Bishop Auckland to nature and their local river. \nIt will be a festival style event with live music from JD and the Woodsman\, as well as a wide range of vendors promoting awareness of climate change and local environmental issues. There will also be crafts on offer as well as face painting\, an ice cream van and team games with Steve from Starboy Fitness & Massage. \nThere will be a range of community engagement workshops on a programme throughout the day. \nFood and drink will be available to buy from the rugby club bar. Feel free to bring a deck chair along! \nFree parking is available at the rugby club. \nThe Trust have set up a pay as you feel donation to the charity for your ticket and these funds raised will be used to improve river habitats in your area.\nPlease reserve one ticket per individual. (not one per family).
