SUMMARY:Bishop Auckland Youth Awards 2026 – Nominations Open!
DESCRIPTION:Nominations for the Bishop Auckland Youth Awards 2026 are officially open! \nThis is your chance to recognise a young person who’s doing something special — whether that’s showing leadership\, helping others\, achieving in sport or the arts\, or simply making a real difference in the community. \nIf someone comes straight to mind\, don’t leave it for later. \nNominate here: Bishop Auckland Youth Awards 2026 – Microsoft Form \n \nThe deadline for all nominations is Monday 20th April 2026. \nThe Youth Awards evening will take place on Monday 22nd June 2026 – The Awards Evening is an invitation only event! \nRules\n\nNomination applications to be open for parent\, carer\, youth group organisers\, school personnel\, peers.\nYou cannot nominate yourself for an award.\nThe nominated person must be a resident of Bishop Auckland or attend a school or regularly attend a group or activity in Bishop Auckland.\nNomination dates will be open from 23rd March 2026 to the 20th April 2026. Late nominations will not be considered.\nNominations must not exceed 300 words and be submitted on the online form (hard copies are available).\nA panel of judges will select the winners. This will consist of 3 members of the Town Council.\nWe aim to notify winners by early May 2026.\nIndividual winners will be able to attend the award ceremony with up to 2 adults only (sorry there is no capacity at the venue to extend this invitation).\nGroup winners will be able to attend with up to 10 group members and two leaders.\nThe awards will take place on Monday 22nd June 2025 at from 5:30pm at Bishop Auckland Town Hall.\nWinners parents/guardians will be asked to sign for use of photographs for media/social media and however else Bishop Auckland Town Council choose to use the photographs.
