Committees
All meetings are notified on the Agendas and Minutes page with a confirmed date and time, this information is also displayed in the Town Council notice board.
The notice board is situated at the entrance of the Newgate Shopping Centre in Newgate Street, Bishop Auckland, Co. Durham DL14 7JQ. However, due to vandalism the board is out of action, therefore notices will be displayed in the windows of the Town Council Building at 54 Kingsway, Bishop Auckland DL14 7JF until further notice.
The Town Council and Committees usually meet approximately every 6 weeks, with a recess in August.

The Committee structure deals with some of the Council’s business, which is then ratified at the next available Town Council meeting.
