Committees
All meetings are notified on the Meetings Agendas page with a confirmed date and time, this information is also displayed in the Town Council notice board. The notice board is situated at the entrance of the Newgate Shopping Centre in Newgate Street, Bishop Auckland, Co. Durham DL14 7JQ. However, due to vandalism the board is out of action, therefore notices will be displayed in the windows of the Town Council Building on Kingsway, Bishop Auckland until further notice.
The Town Council meets approx every 6 weeks, the Committee structure deals with some of the Council’s business. The meeting calendar can be viewed here. The Council operates the following committees:
