Accessibility Regulations

The Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 requirement for a physical ‘wet ink’ signature on the original Annual Governance and Accountability Return Documents (AGAR), does not allow parish council’s like ourselves to fully comply with the Accessibility Regulations. The National Audit Office are aware that the two pieces of legislation are not compatible, therefore smaller authorities like ourselves have been advised to make it clear that the AGAR Documents are a scanned and are not fully compliant with the Accessibility Regulations.
