The number above can also be used to report fallen trees on footpaths and highways and any damage to buildings.
Durham Constabulary are currently receiving a high volume of calls for fallen trees, power lines and phone lines and politely ask that people do not call 999 or 101 to report these, unless there is an emergency such as a road traffic collision.
