The Auckland Project warmly invites you to attend a public drop-in event to share your feedback on a proposed redevelopment of the North Side site of Bishop Auckland’s Market Place.
Thursday 10 April 2025, 3pm – 7pm
Venue: No 42, Market Place, Bishop Auckland, Co. Durham DL14 7PB
The work will involve the removal of the existing derelict Queen’s Head, Postchaise and Monaco buildings, to be replaced with a new 60-bedroom hotel.
As part of Bishop Auckland’s wider investment plan, the development will bring increased employment opportunities and visitor spend to the town.
