Bishop Auckland Town Council is pleased to support the Street Food Carousel in Bishop Auckland, taking place on the first Friday of every month.
This new initiative from Baccanalia is a regional circuit of street food events, which we are excited to bring to Bishop Auckland Market Place each month, starting in April 2026.
The first event is to be held on Friday 3rd April 2026, from 4pm-9pm.
The Street Food Carousel builds on Baccanalia’s previous street food events across the county, including events in Bishop Auckland.
The programme now offers an extended experience for both traders and residents, bringing a fantastic range of local food and creating a vibrant town centre atmosphere.
Baccanalia are looking forward to seeing the Market Place come alive once again with great food, great company and a lively evening for the community.
