Bishop Auckland has a rich architectural and archaeological legacy spanning the Roman period to the present day.
The StoryMap tour is part of a guided walk by Historic England, which was delivered by Architectural Investigators in 2019, presenting some of the preliminary results of the on-going research for an Historic Area Assessment of the town, one of the key outputs of the Heritage Action Zone.
