All are welcome to attend the annual Bishop Auckland Remembrance Day Service on Sunday 12th November 2023, at the War Memorial in the Market Place. Service arrangements are being coordinated by Bishop Auckland Town Council in partnership with the Royal British Legion, 8th Battalion the Rifles and Bishop Auckland Parish.
A Service will be held at the War Memorial in the Market Place and people are asked to start to assemble from 10.30am.
Wreaths will be laid by members of various organisations, as part of the service. Following which a Service of Remembrance be held in St. Anne’s Church in the Market Place.
All are warmly welcome to lay a wreath or pay their respects at the memorial, and organisations/Individuals are welcome to register attendance with the Town Council, however those who do not register will have the opportunity to lay their wreath at the end of the service.
