Henknowle Ward Election Result – Thursday 21st July 2022

The election for a Town Councillor for the Henknowle Ward was held on the 21st July 2022.

The Election results are available in PDF below:

 

Kimm Lawson, of the Labour Party was elected with 211 votes.

Michael Harker, Independent received 113 Votes

James Middleton, Conservative received 97 Votes

Vacant Seats: 1 Electorate: 2785 Ballot Papers Issued: 422 (1 paper was rejected due to voting for more than one candidate) Turnout: 15.15%




Planning Committee, 26th July 2022

Decision Making

The next meeting of the Town Council’s  Planning Committee on Tuesday 26th July 2022 at the Kingsway Court, 52 Kingsway, Bishop Auckland DL14 7JF. This meeting will immediately follow the Town Council meeting, commencing no earlier than 7pm.

Members of the Public and Press are welcome to attend. However, in light of coronavirus concerns it is recommended that attendance is registered with the Town Clerk prior to attending to ensure that the meeting space is large enough to accommodate everyone safely. To register attendance please call 01388 207110 or email council@bishopauckland-tc.gov.uk by noon on Monday 25th July  2022.
