The Town Council has received notification from Durham County Council to inform of some improvement works to the footways that will begin shortly at Finkle Street, Bishop Auckland.

- Duration: 5-6 weeks
- Working hours: 7:30am to 3:30pm
Finkle Street will remain open to vehicular traffic, however, the works area will be coned off and inaccessible to both vehicles and pedestrians.
Please park vehicles away from the works to prevent obstruction.
As with any construction work, some noise and disruption are expected. Please be assured that every effort will be made to minimise inconvenience.
A Durham County Council supervisor will be present on site should you require assistance.

Durham County Council have distributed letters to all affected parties, but if possible, please share this information with any other residents or businesses who may also be impacted.
Please note that unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather may delay works. If this delay is five days or fewer, no additional letters will be issued.
