It’s been a busy couple of weeks for the Mayor who has attended no less than fifteen Civic duty events in only two weeks!

Some of the highlights include four civic carol services across the County, Charity Fundraising Evenings at Shildon and Spennymoor Town Councils, unveiling the Advent Window at Nip and Tuck, a fantastic nativity production at Woodhouse Community Primary School and finally a cheque presentation for £300 to Father Tindall for the Bishop Auckland Fellowship of Churches Christmas Lunch project.

And its not over yet!  Councillor Fleming will attend Woodhouse Community Foodbank tomorrow, and on Saturday he has an interview with Christine Percival for Bishop FM before heading to Spennymoor for a charity event.

“It’s been a hectic couple of weeks but it is for everyone at this time of year, I’m looking forward to a rest over Christmas then back to working hard to promote the Town in 2019!” said Councillor Fleming.
