Our Expression of Interest for Bishop Auckland as UK Town of Culture 2028 (TOC2028) is now officially submitted.
A huge thank you to our partners, volunteers and community for helping us shape the submission for Bishop Auckland.
This is an exciting step for Bishop Auckland and our growing cultural story.
We will know by late Spring if we are through to the formal bid stage.
However, just because we have pressed send today does not mean that we will stop talking about it, collecting ideas, and seeking your views on the TOC2028 ahead of the formal bid stage.
