Bishop Auckland Town Council is pleased to be sponsoring the forthcoming Choral Concert at Auckland Palace in support of the High Sheriff’s Youth Awards. The event is taking place on 12th November 2026.
The event will bring together outstanding musical talent in one of the town’s most historic settings, while raising funds to support organisations that help young people across County Durham overcome challenges, develop skills and achieve their potential.
Mayor of Bishop Auckland Michael Siddle Said “We are delighted to support this concert at Auckland Palace. As well as providing a wonderful cultural experience, the event raises vital funds for initiatives that support and inspire young people, reflecting our shared commitment to strengthening communities and investing in future generations.”
As a Council, we are committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen our communities, promote culture and create opportunities for future generations. We are delighted to play a small part in an event that celebrates both the rich heritage of Bishop Auckland and the positive impact that local organisations make in the lives of young people every day.
We encourage residents to support this special occasion and help contribute to this important cause.
