On Sunday 9th November 2025, Bishop Auckland stood together in remembrance of those who served and sacrificed in times of war and conflict.
The community gathered at the War Memorial and St Anne’s Church for a moving service, with heartfelt thanks to St Anne’s for hosting.
Ministers from the Methodist and Baptist churches joined in shared reflection, highlighting the unity of faith and purpose.
We also extend our deep gratitude to the Durham Light Infantry and the 8th Rifles for their dignified presence and continued service.
Together, we remembered. Together, we honoured.
